buddy! as you might have guessed,
buddy is a celeb comm. we trust that everyone at this point knows the general gist of rules in rp, but we'll map out a few simple things for you. for starters, ic and ooc should always be kept separate. this is the golden rule of all rp so it should be understood that if you or anyone else in the community cross this line and the mods see or are notified of this, a member's removal of the community can and will happen. to apply, an ic journal and a first post or examples (preferably of the celeb you are applying for) are mandatory. aim at this point isn't, but if you are opting out of aim we expect more activity from you on the friends page and a screened post for use of customs in your journal.
challenges are allowed and we will take up to
three applications per celeb, permitting
two challenges each. we will base all decisions on examples, but if you're challenging make sure you submit your best! the update limit here at
buddy is three weeks and updates should be of substantial length, around two paragraphs (or more, if you're feeling inspired.) all members have a span of three days to post an intro. failure to do so will result in removal with the next set of adds/removals. we are opening this with high hopes for members who want to engage in a lot of activities, such as secret santas, chats, discussion posts, award seasons, members of the week, community mixes, movie nights, and plenty of other ways to earn points and update passes! we promise to be interactive and dedicated mods and we are hoping for members of the same calibre who want a long lasting, active, welcoming, and fun home. for any ideas, feedback, or questions, please head to our
